General information

The open water competition takes place at the Punta Leona Resort complex, located in the wonderful tropical paradise of Costa Rica's Central Pacific.

This location brings together biodiversity and tranquility, creating a unique environment for enjoyment and relaxation.

Swimmers ages 9 and older can enter the competition, and they can choose from six different events:

This way, participants can take advantage of the entire weekend by participating in one event on Saturday and another on Sunday, as well as engaging in additional recreational, sporting, leisure, or relaxation activities.

2024 Event Information

FIRST DATE: SATURDAY 11 AND SUNDAY 12 MAY, 2024 FIRST DATE

  • Regular registration: from March 1 to April 20, 2024
  • Extraordinary registration: from April 22 to May 1, 2024
  • Competition package pickup: May 5 between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm (location to be determined)

SECOND DATE: SATURDAY 2 AND SUNDAY 3 NOVEMBER, 2024

  • Regular registration: from August 24 to October 12, 2024
  • Extraordinary registration: from October 14 to October 23, 2024
  • Competition package pickup: October 27 between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm (location to be determined)
